ABSTRACT
Several companies seek to develop an organizational culture focused on innovation, as they see it as a competitive differentiator to leverage their products and services in the long term. Inspiring teams to think differently and find disruptive solutions to achieve their international goals takes time and requires a methodology to conduct a work routine. Therefore, companies that adopt certain management practices and stand out in the context of the current corporate market deserve to be obtained carefully.
This research focuses on management practices that can positively impact organizational culture, increasing companies’ innovation orientation. Based on the reviewed literature, his research developed a theoretical model and applied a questionnaire to employees of several Brazilian companies, identifying which management variables exert the greatest influence on innovation orientation. Through statistical validation using structural equations, it was possible to prove that 67% of the intention for innovation is explained by management practices: Knowledge Management, People Management and HR Policies.
